Personal opinion: It’s a high time if you want to acquire a Canon EF 100mm Macro 2.8 now as price has already dropped a bit due to the new replacement release coming soon. Canon 50D reportedly sold out at many places and it’s price has dropped abit too. It’s time, soon.
Additional: There’s also rumour about new successor to Canon EF 17-40mm L too. But, it’s just plain rumour for now. Hold back our purchases and watch!
