Nikon D3Flagship pro D-SLR with a 12.1-MP FX-format CMOS sensor, blazing 9 fps shooting at full FX resolution and low-noise performance up to 6400 ISO.

The Nikon D3 (announced 23.08.07) features a 12.1 effective megapixels FX-format CMOS image sensor with 36.0 (H) x 23.9 (V) mm image size, Sensitivity range ISO 200 to 6400 at normal setting for exceptionally high-quality images; can be set to ISO-equivalent 25,600, Continuous shooting at up to 9 frames-per-second, Scene Recognition System, 2 LiveView Shooting Modes, and a High-definition (920,000 dots), 170˚ viewing angle, 3-inch VGA LCD monitor with tempered glass. The camera will be available in November 2007 at around US$5000.

mylensdb is fitted with sample photos now!

As you may have noticed that you are seeing “things” in these few days when browsing for lenses or camera bodies, you are right. This is official.

This is probably one of the most important upgrade to date for mylensdb.com. And more essentially, it’s driving towards what it claims in its tag line, The Lens Database.

Here in mylensdb, we now get to see some sample photos taken using the specific lens that we are viewing at. For instance, we are looking at Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM in the screen shot below.
