With a minimum wide-angle starting focal length of 7mm (equivalent to 14mm on a 35mm film camera), the 114-degree picture angle provided by this product is the widest in the world (NOTE) for a zoom lens designed for use with digital cameras. Olympus today has announced the successor of its E-P2 and E-PL2 with the new E-P3 and E-PL3 cameras. Other than that, Olympus has introduced a new camera series starting with the Olympus E-PM1 sporting the smallest and lightest Olympus PEN ever.
Two new lenses have been announced as well today. They are Olympus M.ZUIKO DIGITAL 45mm f1.8 and M.ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 12mm f2.0.
