The Canon EF 28-200mm f/3.5-5.6 USM Lens holds a very wide focal length range in a compact and inexpensive package. But, image quality delivered by this lens is … well … poor.

Overall, the Canon EF 28-200mm f/3.5-5.6 USM Lens’ build quality is mediocre. It sports a metal lens mount like the best, but the rest of the lens is just average for a consumer grade lens.

Overall, the Canon EF 28-200mm f/3.5-5.6 USM Lens optically disappoints.

The Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC OS (Optical Stabilizer) Lens offers an “all-in-one” super-zoom lens solution, from wide-angle to long telephoto. It provides the equivalent focal range of approx. 29-320mm when used with a Canon digital SLR camera(*).
